Melissa Castillo, formerly a Production Associate, now serves as Coalition Court Reporters’ After Hours Associate. In her current role, she manages all requests and emails that come in outside of regular business hours, ensuring last-minute changes, additions, and hearings are handled with accuracy and urgency. Whether it’s a forgotten hearing or a quick adjustment, Melissa is the go-to person when things need attention after hours. She continues to bring the same dedication she demonstrated in her previous position, where she assisted the production supervisor with managing communications and producing court transcripts—and where her favorite task was producing and binding deposition transcripts.

With years of customer service experience in the hospitality industry, Melissa has developed a keen ability to stay calm and composed in high-stress situations, which proves invaluable in her current position.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys reading, drawing, and painting—activities that inspire her creativity. She is also a fan of film scores, books, and movies. When it comes to travel, Disneyland and Disney World hold a special place in her heart, and she’s always eager to return. A diehard Los Angeles Dodgers fan, Melissa also has a passion for history, which was her favorite subject in school.
